Check-out: 10:00 AM — The cleaning crew arrives right at 10.
House Rules
Maximum 6 guests. Children and infants welcome. No parties or events unless approved. No smoking inside (outside is fine). No pets unless approved. No unregistered guests. Quiet hours outside after 10pm.
Heated Floors
MV Haus has radiant heated floors with three separate zones, each with its own thermostat:
- Zone 1: Master bedroom and master bath
- Zone 2: Living room, kitchen, dining room, and second bathroom
- Zone 3: Two additional bedrooms
Adjust each thermostat to your comfort. Please return all thermostats to 69°F when you check out.
Indoor Fireplace
The fireplace is wood-burning. Use dry cordwood only — do not burn trash, paper, or charcoal.
To start a fire: Place a firestarter on top of two logs, light it, then close the door. The fireplace has an Easy-Light system and a Burn Rate selector to control airflow. When adding wood, wait until the current load is reduced to embers, then add 2-3 new logs. Open the door slowly. For your first fire, crack a nearby window briefly to help with ventilation.
Contact us at (678) 230-3054 if you have any trouble.
Hot Tub
Your private hot tub is on the back deck with mountain views. It's kept heated and ready for use. Please replace the cover when you're done to keep it warm and clean. Contact (678) 230-3054 if any issues.
Entertainment
Living Room: Projector with a 15-foot movie screen. Select HDMI 1 for Google Chromecast (cast from your phone) or HDMI 2 for Roku. For sound, connect via Bluetooth to the Yamaha receiver on the bookshelves in the dining area — it usually connects automatically. There's a button beneath the projector to help with pairing if needed. Sound Zone A covers the living room, Zone B covers the dining area.
Bedrooms: All three bedrooms have Smart TVs. Log in with your own streaming credentials.
You'll also find board games, books, and room darkening shades for movie time.
Kitchen
Fully equipped with refrigerator, stove, oven, microwave, coffee maker, toaster, blender, kettle, pots and pans, dishes and utensils, baking sheet, wine glasses, and basic spices. If a common item is missing, let us know and we'll replace it during your visit.
